Platanistasa Wine Festival
Discover traditional Cypriot wine culture at the 4th Platanistasa Wine Festival, a village celebration dedicated to local wine, authentic flavours and the traditions of rural Cyprus.
Taking place in the mountain village of Platanistasa, the festival brings visitors together to enjoy wine served in the traditional way, straight from a clay jar. With music, dancing and local hospitality, it offers a glimpse into the atmosphere of old-fashioned Cypriot village celebrations.
The festival’s theme, “Wine from the Clay Jar, Just Like in the Old Days,” celebrates the customs and communal spirit that have long been part of winemaking and village life in Cyprus.
