4th Cyprus Tradition Festival
The 4th Cyprus Tradition Festival, organised by the Holy Metropolis of Limassol, celebrates the island’s traditional food, crafts, music and cultural heritage. Held in the courtyard of Panayia Pantanassis Catholic Metropolitan Church, the two-day festival brings together local flavours, traditional performances and activities for the whole family.
Visitors can enjoy traditional Cypriot dishes, including kleftiko, resi, sheftalia, zalatina, trachanas, freshly made halloumi and soutzoukos. Chefs Christina Christofi and Androulla Kefala will prepare traditional pasta, while Vasiliki Hatzadamous will provide musical entertainment.
Beyond the food, the festival offers traditional songs and dances, shadow-puppet theatre, children's games and demonstrations of traditional occupations. Exhibitions of weaving and embroidery showcase skills passed down through generations, giving visitors an opportunity to experience Cyprus's living cultural heritage.
