The Radisson Hotels Larnaka Marathon is one of Cyprus’ major international road-running events, bringing thousands of runners from around the world to the coastal city of Larnaka. The 9th edition takes place on Sunday, 15 November 2026, combining competitive racing, beautiful Mediterranean scenery and a lively atmosphere along the seafront. The event features a range of races for different ages and fitness levels, from the full 42.195 km marathon to shorter distances and children’s races. The flat coastal routes pass iconic landmarks, historic neighbourhoods and the Larnaka Salt Lake, offering runners a chance to experience the city from a different perspective. Whether you are an experienced marathon runner, a casual jogger or a family looking for an active day out, there is a race to suit different abilities. The shorter races start near Europe Square, along the Finikoudes seafront. The finish line is at Finikoudes. Minimum ages apply: 18 for the marathon and half marathon, 15 for the 10 km, and 12 for the 5 km races. Children’s race categories are intended for ages 6–12. The event is held mainly along the seafront, so expect road closures and changes to traffic around Finikoudes on race day.
