ArtCargo Performing Arts Festival

The ArtCargo Performing Arts Festival brings contemporary performing arts into the streets and public spaces of Nicosia. For ten days, local and international artists transform the historic city centre into an open-air stage, presenting creative performances that invite audiences to experience art in unexpected places. The programme features contemporary circus, acrobatics, street comedy, dance, live music, interactive performances and innovative art installations. Visitors can discover spectacular outdoor shows, watch performers balance and juggle unusual objects, experience dance combined with digital projections, and even become part of the performances themselves. Artists from Cyprus and other countries, including France, Germany, Sweden, Finland, the Netherlands, Argentina and Japan, take part in the festival. Many performances are language-free, making them accessible to international visitors and families.
